El1850-01e when windows loading, shows windows logo and freezes, any ideas

Restart with safe mode. Start-Run-msconfig, than uncheck all loading startup programs. (one must be a killer) Restart and go.

Well, we old dogs would just go back and unplug everything, and then replug everything back in for a start. Did you use an anti-static wrist band when you were doing this install?

Please specify your problem in details. is it windows logo or motherboard logo.
If your PC freezes at Windows logo then its the problem of your operating system, try to repair it or have a fresh installation with a proper Windows bootable disc.

perhaps you need to reinstall the operating system,the system files might be corrupted because of power problem,and there's "windows loading files" thing,so the windows cannot go further because it cannot find some files while loading. do you need any help with installing operating system?

You probably have a bad stick of ram with a bad memory address. As windows starts to load drivers and programs into memory on startup it works fine until it tries to load something into that address. You may also have mismatched ram sticks that are different speeds and maybe uncompatible. Here is a link to download and create a bootable CD to run the memory checker.

leave the drive disconnected until you have booted up.

You could change the BIOS to tell it not to look for external boot devices to overcome this also.

All it is, is that the computer can see files on the drive that it thinks may be an operating system and it is trying to boot from that drive until it fails and then loads windows normally.

Check your GraphicCard. Have you tried downgrading to XP and can you tell if you facing same problem?
