Has anyone found the solution for the incompatibility of Vista and LG990????Please heeeeeeelp!!!!

You must remove windows vista from your computer and put an operating system on it that Oracle 9 is compatible with such as XP or upgrade your version of Oracle to one that is compatible with Vista.

That usually means that the company has not written a driver for VISTA and usually with a discontinued  a model,never wil write one. Noone else will either.  It makes that model  scanner incompatable with VISTA. Their is no workaround.  Sorry.  Please don't rate harshly for me telling you the truth. Thanks.

I had all sorts of Vista incompatibility issue and most were sorted directly at www.microsoft.com or maybe a sniff at www.philips.com help & support/downloads, if no joy a trusty site that never fails me is www.cnet.com

Well, we wont know until you try. In my opinion, your 32/64 bit issues will be solved, but you would still have the normal vista/xp compatibility issues.

But that is to be expected, like when we all upgraded from win98 to XP.

So - I would recommend downgrading to Vista 32 bit, or getting the 64bit software version of the programs you want to use.

Whenever anyone try to run a program which is not compatible with windows aero vista changes the color scheme to vista basic to prevent conflicts.
This is a normal problem and there is nothing to worry about it.
Sometimes even dream scene is stopped due to incompatibility.

I see no reason why you cannot do so. Just make sure you find all the drivers for you laptop before you migrate.

My friend you must be pacient, windows vista is genarating a lot of problems with hardware drivers, due to incompatibility, try sending an email to ASUS to post your problem, it's the best i can do right now :(
