Take it in for a carby rebuild
the rest is perfectly fine
if you have been using e-mix fuels , don't as it damages the delicate diaphragms in the carby

SOURCE: starts runs min. or two then stops....

Go to toro.com then click customer care, then click manuals and parts. Type in model no. and download the owners manual. This should get you the spark and flywheel gap. Probably still something in the carb. Some orifices are very hard to find and to clean but they must be clean. Also check for dirt dopper nest in the muffler.

Bg86c stihl blower no spark new spark plug new coil gapped right take ground wire off still nothing

Sounds like a tricky one. Have you checked the magetism/functioning of the flywheel.? Tracking back the problem by having a new spark plug and coil would next point you to the flywheel. Coil to flywheel gap should be 0.25 feeler guage.

Hope this proves useful. :)

Will not prime-new bulb-new primer base have rebuilt carb

Maybe a problem with the 'connector' (item 4) as its the only way for fuel to pass in and out the fuel tank. Obviously assuming none of the pipes are leaking. Also check the fuel tank vent (item 2), these have valves in and can often perrish and leak to atmosphire. 3_2_2013_11_33_39_pm.jpg

It quit running after it a had been running for 10 min.It will not start again

You will have to check for fuel and spark to the engine. By process of evaluation, you may come to the reason for this failure. Engines need 4 things to operate properly;
1. Good compression (engine not worn out or scored)
2. Good strong spark
3. Clean, fresh fuel mixed right and introduced to the engine correctly.
4. Clean air supply
These things may sound elementary and they are but these machines are very temperamental and if one of the 4 above things is off....performance will suffer or you will get the dreaded no-start condition.

Stihl 55 blower runs 5min. and quits /cool 5 min. and runs aga

running the right fuel mixture for the unit if not it could have to much oil & fouling out the plug or not enough oil & getting to hot & melting the piston ring & piston the only other thing is the carb adustments
