I am having trouble finding codes for a GE universal remote codes for a GE converter box version 5 25008

I have a GE convert box and lost the original remote and am having trouble finding a manual for a GE universal remote. All I can seem to find is versions 1-4 but not a version 5. Please help!!

SOURCE: Trouble programming Universal Remote to a DTV Converter Box...

Not a complete solution, but, around the last page (pg. 14) of your converter box manual there are codes listed for universal remotes. I happen to have a Philips remote that is listed. My code to control my dtv box is 0354. It appears that they have all codes listed for all Radioshack model universal remotes. I would suggest getting a Radioshack remote for Your "Digital Stream" (Radioshack) dtv box...

Hi, you will need to purchase the original remote if it is available somewhere. That is your best option. or you can try universals from the store, they come with codes. if they do not have the codes listed in their manual for your brand stream converter box, then it will not work. Trial and error with universals.
