Languages (Menu 9.2.5)
You can select the display language. When the
language option is set to Automatic, the language is
automatically selected according to the language of
the SIM card used. English will be set if the language
on the SIM card is not supported in the phone.

On Control Panel-Touch Screen, Down right Side there is a tab to change the languages/Language Setting.
Even if it is Chinese or Portuguese language showing just click on the down right side button on touch screen, a new menu will appear. From there you can select your desired language.English-Chinese etc.

How do i convert my acer netbook to english language from chinese?
You have to download and install a LIP (Lanaguage Interface pack) A LIP changes everything in Windows, to another language. but you cannot change the language Windows uses on the screen unless you buy the English version.

However IF it is Chinese Windows, then you will never really be 100% converted, the BEST way then, is to remove OLD Chinese Windows, and install a NEW English Version.

Normally just go to Control Panel, Regional and Language Option, click the Language tab, Details radio button, click Add radio button, click the drop down box and select the language. It may ask you for the distribution disc. Once multiple language had been added, a language switching Task Tray will appear near the normal Task Tray in the lower right corner. Shift-Alt will also switch the languages.


In Windows 7's Search programs and files box type Anytime and click on the Windows Anytime Upgrade icon that appears. Purchase a Windows Anytime Upgrade product key for Windows 7 Ultimate edition and upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. Afterward, visit Windows Update and download the English language pack.

you need to go to

Menu>Setting>Phone>Phone language

Setting will have an Icon of Spanner
Phone will have an icon like a cell phone

you need to select language as English
the phone will ask to restart...select yes(left selection key
