Washing machine spin cycle

I have a Kenmore washer that is about 4 1/2 yrs. old. I don't use it hard as there is just husband and me. For the past few months, a couple of loads per week, it does not competeley spin the clothes dry enough. It makes no weird sounds. I will have to run the spin cycle a second time in order to get the clothes spun out enough to dry in the dryer. Did I just get a lemon that is on its way out or can we fix this??

If a second spin dries the clothes as it should then i would be looking for blockages in the pipes that either go to the pump from the drum, or go from the pump to the outlet connector on the wall or sink, hope i have been of some help, if so please rate me, thank you

My Kenmore he front load washer stopped at the rinse and spin cycle. I don't know the model but it only a few years old. It made a load noise before stopping. I attempted to get it going again wit

Kenmore front loader. stopped at rinse. First ck to see if you washer works at different settings if so its very possible its your timmer or what called the wig wag or solonoid this switches the machine to spin & rinse. A basic service call should resolve your problem.

Washer doesn't spin ; model 3200 bosch; 4 yrs. old; other cycles work

Although all brands are different in design, the basic concept is the same. When a machine won't spin, there are several things to consider:

  • Is the belt broken? Loose?
  • Does the lid switch click when closing? (see video below)
  • Does the spin solenoid engage? (1984 and before)
  • Drive coupling worn out? (on some newer Whirlpool & Kenmore top loaders)
  • Clutch worn out?
  • Current to motor? (Use voltmeter to check)

Kenmore washing machine will not drain

Replace the timer.
This is a neutral drain machine. If there is no natural pause in the timer at the end of the rinse cycle the timer is bad.

Washing machine spin cycle

chances are the pump may have something in it or the drain line is kinked a little front loader machines have a clean out on the pump that you can get to buy taking the lower front panel off.top loaders you have to pull access cover in the rear and pull hose off and check for blockage also check belt tension and quality of belt
