Both sides are being used in my gang box. How do I add a third? Is it possible?

You have to test which wire is neutral.... usually white wires twisted together and covered with wire nut in back of box.
Hot wire with test 120volt to neutral.
Hot wire will test 120volt to ground.

BUT, what voltage are you working with. It sounds like 230V european wire colors?
Now also. Do you have two separate light switches in same box (which is called 2-gang)? Or do you have a double switch, which is two switches on one device?
Add a comment, and include as much detail as possible about the switch, voltage, and number and color of screws on each switch.

The difference between US and European, is that European has two hot wires, while US has hot and neutral wires. Otherwise both systems require two wires to complete circuit.

What is 1mm double core?

Each 120Volt electrical box has one Hot wire. This is true for ceiling and wall boxes.
Normally in a gang box, the Hot wire jumpers across all devices in the box.
Some switch boxes do not have Neutral wire. Neutral wires are usually white, and are twisted together and covered with wire nut and shoved to back of box.

Hello.
All whites are marretted together,

• white power - white 1st light - white 2nd light

Blacks are the return for each light, and are joined after passing through the switches,

• black FROM 1st light - top of switch - bottom of same switch - black power AND other black from 2nd light (see next step)
• (repeat of above) black From 2nd light - top of 2nd switch - bottom of 2nd switch - black power AND black from 1st light

NOTE: both switch blacks are marretted together to the black of power. Ground all 3 as normal to dblgang box. Total marrettes required is two (three if using one for grounds) Hope this helps. If so, please rate a four-thumbs up, Thank You.

before u start make sure power is off before working with electrical lines ---start with the 12/2 coming into box black [power] white [ground-neutral] and u will have 3 separate lines for the lights so u will have 4 lines total coming in the box== with the 3 light lines take the white and strip back the plastic and connect [wire nut] all 3 to the 12/2 white line --now take the 12/2 black line and connect it to the first switch gold color screw- bottom screw -now take some wire about 2-3 inch strip both ends and connect from the 12/2 black wire connection on the switch and connect to the gold /bottom of switch 2 than do the same for switch 3 connecting the wire from switch 2 so u will have power feeding all 3 switches-- now connect the black lines for the lights to the other side of each switch and ur done

change fuse in plug to 3 amp after fitting double gang socket or change breaker in consumer unit to 5 amp

I have searched high and low for this. Can't find it. if you find one please let me know...
What I have done in th past is separate the fan and dimming with two devices and if you're in a multi gang box you can combine other switches into a combination unit, or add a side-car box onto the one you already have in the wall...

You need to determine where the power is coming into the box. That power line needs to be jumpered to each switch. The black of the lights will go to the other side of each switch. All neutral wires are tied together.
