This appliance has 3-ft drainage hose and a 16-ft pump hose. I searched for a store that carry these hose, unfortunately, none of them sell a part or accessory for the DE500P.

Kindly click this link and verify if they could sell a hose:

Good luck.

Model DM32M Haier Dehumidifier. I am missing a part which diverts the water into the hose drain. All the water now goes directly into the bucket. I want it to drain into the sink nearby.

Did you punch out (or cut) the plug that the hose connects to? If not, its blocking the water from draining to the hose.

Please rate 4 stars if this is helpful. Thanks and good luck!

Check with a local Sears store. They specialise in Kenmore appliances and can maybe order one for you.

I have a kenmore dehumidifier model # 129-25803. I have no manual and it is collecting water, but not into the tank, but through a hose tucked in behind the tank and it is running everywhere. how do I...

You will need to disconnect the hose and replace it with a screw on cap that came with the unit. With that in place, the water will be diverted into the bucket. If you are missing the cap, you can probably find a replacement at Sears Parts Direct.Be sure you have the correct model number when searching Sears Parts Direct or before calling them.

I hope this helped you. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Condensate pump buzzes but does not remove water. have blown out discharge hose and clean check valve with changing symptons. Should I give up and put it on a box and buy a separate condensate pump or...

Edwin, according to the Owner's Manual, when this happens the drain hose is not connected properly. Turn the unit OFF and unplug it, then disconnect the hose and reconnect it. Plug the unit back in, Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and press the pump button. If the hose is connected properly, the pump should tunr on and pump the water out.

To help you further, I have included a link to the Owner's Manual for a Delonghi model like yours. Once you go to that page, click on the Acrobat Reader Icon and download the Owner's Manual. You may print it is you like.

The hose connection nipple is smaller than the garden hose-connector and leakes. Do I need a special hose or will putting plumbers tape on the nipple stop the leak?

No, that would probably leak too. What you need to do, is go to your local hardware store or home center (Plumbing Dept) and purchase a female to male connector. The female end is to connect to the unit's male hose connection and the other (Male) end, needs to be the same size for garden hose connection. Make sure that you use an appropriately sized washer for the Female end.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

I connected a hose to my dehumidifier to drain the water. The water is still going in the dehumidifiers tank. What else do I need to do?

Check the hose connection on the dehumidifier, as well as the hose for clogs. That is what usually happens when a hose is connected and it doesn't drain properly.

Also, the hose should be no more than 5 feet long and MUST slope downward to drain properly. As, the drain relies entirely on gravity. There is no pump.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Unit not discharging through garden hose. Just cleaned unit inside and out. Works great, BUT, only discharges into its container. What am I missing. Cleaned all hoses - no blockages. What should I be...

The blockage is not in the hose, it's inside the hose connection drain tube. To clear this clog, you will need an 18" long plastic Zip Tie, sized to fit into the drain hole. You can use something similar, but NO wire coat hangers. Carefully thread the Zip Tie into the hole and continue to firmly, yet gently work it in, until it reaches a bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work it past this bend, until it either bottoms out or you run out of Zip Tie. Then slowly pull it back out while rotating it. This will help remove the clog. Once you have pulled it almost all the way out, be prepared for some water to follow.

That should solve the problem for you. Please let me know. Thanks.

The bucket drain hole will not hold a hose. The threads are stripped. I would like to order a new bucket. Model#580.53509300 Serial number 308TA14498

Fortunately Kenmore products are normally better at offering replacement parts than many other brands out there.
Here is a Link to SearPartsDirect specific to your humidifier. You will need to look at the "cut sheet" and determine which part you are looking for. Based on your description, it sounds like you need a tank?
I do hope you find this information to be very helpful to you moving forward. Please offer feedback on how I did. :-) If you have further questions, problems, concerns, please let us know. :-)
