***First Step***
1.Main menu --> Select Services
3.Select Data Account --> Select GPRS
5.Select the first entry
6.Edit the account name to whatever you would like
7.Edit APN to wap.cingular (lowercase)
8.Edit Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
9.Edit Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE)
10.Edit Auth Type. to Secure
11. Save

Select Back --> Select Back

***Second Step***

Select WAP
1.Select Settings --> Edit Profile
3.Select the first entry --> Edit Profile
5.edit the name to whatever you would like
6.Edit Homepage to http://device.home
7.Edit Data Account to the Name you established in the First Step
8.Edit Connection type to HTTP
9.The IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port number is 8080
10.Edit Username to [email protected]
11.Edit Password to CINGULAR1
Select back or done
Select Activate Account


You should now see a Black [G] in the upper left of your screen.

MMS

Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings
Select Server Profile
Select the first entry
Select Edit Profile
Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like
Edit Home Page to http://mmsc.cingular.com
Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP
Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port is 8080
Edit the Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
Edit the Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE)

Select Done or Save
Make sure to activate the profile and you are good.

Wut is the factory security code on a i9+++?

You can download Java games for this China Sciphone i9+++ from (http://www.umnet.com/mobile-games/0-2375-0-touchscreen_games-0) this website, you need to register first but thats simple anyway. Make sure u download 240x320, touchscreen games because thats what the screen size of i9+++ is otherwise you wont be able to see many options on the screen plus, the game must be touch screen as most java games are not and you won't be able to click on anything. I personally still can't play any java game on my i9+++ because when I open the game it freezes in the (loading...) part and this happens for almost all games. That might not happen to you guys and also if you guys have any solution to this problem please help me.

I also saw one guy saying his screen turns off after every 5 seconds. This really is annoying but has a simple solution. All you need to do is go to settings -> phone setup -> scroll down (by pressing ur finger on the screen and moving upwards) -> Misc. setting -> LCD backlight and set the time to whatever you like.

For the video part, I tried around 50 different video formats to find the one that is supported by Sciphone i9+++, finally I came up with a solution. If you want to put (upload) any video to ur i9+++ first you need to download and install Super (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html) Its free. And these are the settings you need to chose:

Select the output container: MP4
Select the output video codec: MPEG-4
Select the ouput audio codec: AAC LC
Internal encoders are.... : FFmpeg
Video Scale Size: 176:144 (Others will not work).
Aspect ratio: 11:9
Frame/Sec: First click on 'More' and then select the first one (i.e 8) or chose 7.5 if you can't be asked :D (If you chose higher than 8, you will get lags and the video and audio will no longer be in sync).
Bitrate kbps: 1392
Options: tick Hi Quality ONLY (very important) because if 'stretch it' is tick the video will not be converted at all.
Sampling Freq: 44100
Channels: 2
Bitrate kbps: 128

Now right anywhere on the Super and click on 'Add multimedia files', then click on Encode (Acitve files). Copy the video to your i9+++ and if it said 'Invalid video type' or smthing then turn ur i9+++ off and on again and try again.
