I have the sansa e260 with the same problem as well. Can someone help....Please!!!

Have you removed the battery, wait then reinstall it to try to reset it? Been the Sansa website and their FAQ or tech support?

What I would recommend you to do is format the device and reinstall the firmware..the link to install the firmware is below..

Go under settings and change USB Mode to other choice. Then format. After formatting change back to original setting. I had same prob. Tech support told me to do this and it worked. Have had no problem since.

If You Have Bitlord You can Download The Sansa Converter. To do that go to search and Type Sansa Media Converter 1.3

i dont know what the problem might be but u should try calling sandisk they should know what to do. hope it helps
