Sounds like a faulty GPU . your graphic chip or card could be burned out which explains the no display and high speed fan.it can also be it cant boot to BIOS.

Testimonial: "I solve the problem. 1) I change memory with EEC unbuffered DDR3 2) flash bios with latest version. Everything is OK now. RThanks for your help. Best regards, H. Bonneto"

Hi, I need standard spec info of VGA built on Asus P5GC-MX 1333 whether 64 Mb or 128 Mb. Many thanks & regards, Richard

you can use up to a maximum of 224 mb of your computer's RAM for the onboard video chip to use. You can install a video card with any amount of memory (which would give you a lot better video performance).

Hello. I got a Dell PowerEdge PE2950III with one Intel Quad Xeon E5430, 2.66GHz, 2x6MB cache and 1333MHz FSB. I am seeking for another processor like this to use along with my server. When I bought this...

The series of Intel Xeons associated with thethe E5430 is starting to become outdated, and thus it is difficult to obtain them. Memory4Less is selling the exact same processor as the one you have for $860 (can be found here: http://bit.ly/i46z9h ). Unfortunately, it does not come with a heatsink or fan. It is very difficult to find the original fan for a processor sold on its own. While you may not be able to find an original cooler, many companies have made heatsinks that are compatible with Socket LGA771, which is the same socket your processor uses. A comprehensive list can be found here: http://bit.ly/dOzByw A concern when having to use a fan that did not come standard with the CPU is whether or not it will fit in the case. Take careful measurements, and use the fan for the processor you already have as a point of reference. If you absolutely must have the original Dell fan, then I wish you best of luck with your search.

Why my intel d101ggc motherboard fan is so fast when it busy.

It is running fast when your computer is busy because the CPU is generating alot of heat when under stress and so the fun speeds up to help cooldown the extra heat.

How do you troubleshoot the processor cooling fan-to see if it's spinning fast enough?

Go into bios and under advanced functions it will tell you CPU fan speed and CPU temperature

ASUS P5Q3 with Xeon CPU

Yes, it will work. However it depends on which one you buy. Here's one that will work with that particular motherboard.

First, visit this website. Now search for, "Xeon" (Without the quotes, though). Click the second result on the list, which should be the, "Intel Xeon E3110 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E3110 - Retail." That processor is a 45NM LGA-775 processor, which Asus claims that motherboard can support 45NM LGA-775 processor.

Let me know if I can assist you further, or if I need to explain anything in more detail. If this solves your question, please rate the solution.

Cpu fan not running fast enough

This will depend on the motherboard you are using.

however, you need to make sure that the CPU fan lead is plugged into the correct plug on the motherboard... for example, I have an Intel 975xbx motherboard and it has 4 fan plugs, but only one of those is for the CPU. The others are for front/rear/top fans. If the CPU fan is plugged into one of the secondary ports, the CPU fan wont speed up correctly.

Also, some BIOS settings in the motherboard allow you to enable or disable automatic fan speed adjustment, and also set the temperature points.
