Kodac easy share c330 says memory card full, but it is a new card

We have a kodac easy share c330. We are trying to use a memory card, but when we put it in it says reading, for awhile and then says it is full. We just took it out of the package so it is new.

The spec for the SD card format is going to 2GB but the Kodak C330 not compatible with 2 GB SD memory cards.

But try an firmware upgrade. Maybe the supporting now the 2 GB memory cards.
Why download firmware version 1.07?
This firmware version improves memory card compatibility and provides general performance updates.

Download pictures from kodac M753 to my laptop

what kind of laptop is it? If you have a Kodak easy share dock you can sync them with the touch of a button depending on your laptop you may be able to take the card out of your camera and put it in your laptop. Does it have a card reader? This camera comes with a USB adapter, so alternately you can connect it to your computer that way, browse to the photo folder in your camera and copy everything over that way.

Any memory cards that work for kodac c330

The C330 works with MMC and SD cards. MMC cards are all but extinct now, but you should be able to find SD cards up to 2GB in size at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.
Be careful to get an SD card, not an SDHC or SDXC card. SD cards only go up to 2GB in size.

Is there a solution to the kodac c330 memory cards or is the camera junk?

Not necessarily junk. Are you trying to use a 4GB or higher card with your older camera? If so, that's your problem. Your camera can only use 2GB or less standard SD cards (and not SDHC cards). Fortunately, 2GB SD cards are very inexpensive, and widely available on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them.

Put the battery back and then try to turn it back on.......Hope u are sure that the battery has enough charge. If the step does not work try some other alkaline or lithium batteries if possible.

My c330 kodak easy share reads memory is full whenever i turn it on

If the memory says it is full when not, reformat the memory card. Take out the memory card and put it in a card reader. Hook it up with your computer. Go to My Computer. Look for the card reader. Right Click on it and click FORMAT.
Formatting option is also available in the camera menu.

I have a kodac easy share Z700,what size sd card should i buy?

The largest SD card that will work in the Z700 is 2GB. Given that smaller SD cards are getting scarce, I'd buy at least two 2GB cards. That way, if something happens during a shooting session, you'll have a backup card.

New memory card and the camera says its full

try doing a format with the camera. check your manual to see how to do this with your camera. Beware, formatting will erase anything on the card. i actually had the same problem with my camera, and this worked for me. Sometimes new flash cards are not compatible off the shelf--they need to be formatted. You should have at least flash cards to be sure card is not defective. Let me know if this helps!

Largest Compact Flash card a Kodac DC290 will acomodate?

To the best of my knowledge, the largest Flash Memory card a DC290 can utilize, is 256 MB. The 290 is an upgrade to the 260 and the largest that could use is 256 MB. I've not tried anything larger so I don't know if it could only "see" 256 MB of something larger or if it would not recognize it at all.
