Change color option in your setup. (to colour, now set to grey.
Go to control panel, Printers, properties.

If problem persists, try clean cartridge. If 3rd party refill, please buy original HP (best buy after all)

I have new photo (58) and color (57) carts and when I print wallet size (9 pics per 8.5x11 photo paper) the first 3 print true color and the last 6 are blue. I have cleaned the rollers and still do not...

hello, you are using the photo color ink cart, have you tried running a cleaning cycle or test print, the reason why i ask, is that maybe 1 of the colors is not printing, the test pages would prove what color is missing, if black not printing, it would print possible blue, or no black at all. i know you have put in new inks, but since the volume of ink in these cartridges run out according to usage, one color might run out before the others, and since black and yellow are the most used colors, without them your prints will show color faults.

Blue pics on kodak 5300

Kindly reseat the cartridges 2 times and then close the access door .Click on Menu on the printer and scroll down and choose Clean printhead and select "deep cleaning"
Print a demo sheet after the cleaning process has been completed. If ur issue persists, Call Kodak @ 1800 421 6699 and they will replace printhead of the printer free of cost..
Printhead is the part which takes the ink out from the cartridges. Probably the printhead of the printer has gone bad.

When printing a photo has a yellow/green tint. All other functions work it prints and scans great. Just have a problem with printing photos.

Possibly it is running low on Blue ink - because colors are usually a mixture of inks - for example green is made from blue and yellow - if an ink runs low it will print the available colors or substitute the next available color.Probably if it prints green yellow - then it has no blue available to make the right shade.

Will only print photos in shades of green and grey.

Not being able to scan properly and improper colors are most often caused by glitches in the software. Try reinstalling your driver with a new updated driver for your machine.
Here is a link to the OEM page:http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn033540.jhtml?pq-path=9106

This is the all in one driver. Install this and try again and it should fix it. Let me know if it helps.

Printer will not print black ink

Seems to be a common fault with Kodak EasyShare 5100/5300

Contact Kodak Support and go though the following tests:

Remove and re-seat Printer Cartridge(s) - Done

Clean Printhead - Done

Calibrate Printer - Test Sheet Not Complete!

Run Computer Colour Test - Done

They will then send you a new Print Head.

Color is all wrong

Your pictures are coming out with a blue tint. Remove the color catridge and look at the bottom of it. the Yellow is probably green. If it isn't, trying performing a printhead cleaning through your home center. After that, calibrate the printer, you may see that on the calibration sheet, that colors are missing. Scan the calibration page and then try your printing your pictures. If that doesn't work, contact kodak tech support, you need a new printhead.

Poor color on home printed photos

hmm..no blue, eh? that means that one of your print head cartidge lines is clogged. Sounds like time for a new cartridge tray, which you can access through www.kodak.com
