I see that your Frigidaire dehumidifier is displaying an error code of "ES" and you would like to the meaning of that error code. The "ES" error code stands for evaporator thermistor error. This could be a possible problem with your control panel, thermistor, or a wiring harness. I would recommend contacting your manufacturer for further assistance with your dehumidifier. according to the user manual the dehumidifier will not stop running for the following 5 reasons:

• Windows or doors near dehumidifier are open to outdoors.
• Area to be dehumidified is too large.
• Air movement through dehumidifier is blocked.
• Dehumidifier has been installed or restarted recently.
• Dehumidifier is in the CONTINUOUS mode.

I understand that the condensation is turning to ice on your Frigidaire dehumidifier, model# LAD704TDL. This can be a possible cause of your dehumidifier being turned on recently. This is normal, due to refrigerant rushing through the coil. Frost will usually disappear within 60 minutes. Another possibility is the room temperature is too low. All dehumidifiers will operate satisfactorily at temperatures greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your dehumidifier status has changed successfully.
