Your motor has a thermal protection switch in it the reacts to an overheating condition. Once the motor cools enough it will turn back on. You may be able to have the motor rebuilt for about half the cost of new if it is not damaged to severely. Take it to a local electric motor repair shop for service. If it is damaged beyond repair, you can shop around for a new one. If you would like a quote, contact us at www.arrowpools.net with your pump model number and we can quote it.

Is the motor running? It will make an audible 'click' when it turns on and another as it slows to a stop once shut off. If it keeps doing it during the run time, you are likely not feeding it the correct voltage. Otherwise, one click at the start and end is normal.
If the motor is set for the correct voltage and the line voltage is ok, the motor is starting to fail and will need service at a local electric motor repair shop.

make sure the pump motor is set for 115 volts, it soumds like you have the motor set at the factory 230 v setting and are trying to run it on 115 v look on the motor label it will show you how to set the motor up for 115 v (if the breaker is wide 230 if its skinny like the ones that control your lights its 115v ..if you have ran it for awhile like this you may want to search your area for your local pool pump motor repair guy w/ free testing, because you may have damaged the start capacitor about 20.00 or less fix.if not this can come back to haunt you later,,jay
