Duo therm 5 button control is showeing "EE" on control panel

I am replacing the old one because it would not display properly. If I powered the old one off, it would only display "fan" and "cool". I have two zones in my coach. The roof AC units are also heat pumps and I have two furnaces for each zone as well.

SOURCE: will not shut off

Sounds like a stuck relay on the unit itself. Maybe there is a short in the control wire that comes from the thermostat that activates the fan.

The thermostat probably has one hot wire at all times. The thermostat then chooses which wire to send the voltage down based on your selection. One of those wires is probably for the fan only. Make sure that it is in good condition (no bare, pinched or wires)

SOURCE: RV Dometic AC Comfort Control Double EE Problem

I have a dometic duo-therm. The unit works great and fan blows strong and both high and low work., but air is coming out of the ceiling unit rather than the duct work. The bedroom unit works OK, but the air is strong out of one duct, and not much comes out of the others. The front unit only has air coming out on the A/C unit and none out of the ducts.

SOURCE: AC Kicking OFF Breaker

Sounds like you have a problem with your compressor. If the beaker trips the second the compressor tries to come on hen it is shorted. If it takes a couple of seconds, then your compressor is locked up.

SOURCE: I have a dometic duo therm roof ac unit that is

It is a closed system, (ends are soldered) that said, a heating and cooling guy may be able to install fill valves and re-charge for you, but make sure you get a quote ahead of time. How old is the unit? Not normal for them to need re-charge, and I've seen them work good for 15 years, if maintained properly. Has it been completely cleaned recently?
