Cant download apps application on phone

When downloading apps application it goes as far as restore on phone and then goes no further

The iphone will sync your apps but you shoudn't need to restore it ever. unless you absolutely need to
if you are downloading apps from the itunes store, they will show in the upper most side menu on itunes.
plug your phone in and when it mounts, it comes to the summary, which shows the ipod picture.
in the upper part above the ipod picture you will see tabs, click on the apps tab and choose your settings. IE sync all apps etc.
Click apply and you iphone will sync your apps. it may take a few minutes because it backs up your phone also transferring the apps on the phone to your computer to sync.

How to download application without setting up the my family settings
without using the phone network you will have to enable WIFi TO ACCESS DOWNLOADS. However, Im not sure if app store is linked to your account. Dont think it is. if you have an-existing account for the app store, login and begin downloads, but unless you setup a network plan you cant make calls or downloads over phone network.

You should however use skype, and other phone over wifi tools. You just cant go anywhere, or do much without wifi.

Cant download apps on android market
You see, I posted these tips about downloading applications through our carrier's data plan. If this is your case, take a look at them. Anyway, in case you keep being unable to downaload applications, try to make sure the market application is not running, either by resetting your phone (press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds, until a context menu comes up, and select 'Power off'', and, then, after your phone is powered off, press and hold the power button again, to turn it on), or simply killing the market application process (from any of the home screens, go to 'Start > Task manager'. Wait a while for the applications list to be updated, tap over the 'Market' application, and select 'End application'). Either way, run the market application again.

Well, Register on appbrain.com and download the app - this will backup all your applications - well, sync to the web so after update all you need to do is download appbrain again, sync up and all apps will re-download

Appsaver saves all your apps to sd card and will also search sd card for apps to install

Go to your Home screen.
Tap the Menu button.
Choose Settings
Choose Applications
Choose Manage applications
Select All
Scroll down to Market and select it
Select Clear cache

Try downloading using Market again.

If it still does not work use the same procedure to Clear data (not cache) of the following:
Download Manager
Google Apps
Google Talk
Checkin Service

Calculator application deleted
do a system restore on the phone if you can, or if you have to and you really really need the calculator app back you can do a factory reset so your phone goes back to when you first bought it and you will have none of the apps you have downloaded, hope this helped

Go here and download the file that is for your phone. Connect in itunes and put the mouse over restore. Hold shift and click restore. Use the file you downloaded and let it work. You will have to use a at&t sim to activate it.
