I have a Kenmore Side by Side refrigerator made by Whirlpool. After taking water from the dispenser of the icemaker calls for water the dispensing tube at the door drips water. The Sears tech replaced the dual water solinoid valve, problem remained, newxt trip out installed a anti siphon valve inline with the water cooling coil in the fridge this did not work, came back a third time took out that anti-siphon valve and installed a second revision anti-siphon valve in the door where the water exits the system. Problem remained, replaced the solinoid thinking faulty, no luck, replaced the door anti siphon again problem remains. Water solinoid uses the new style quick change connectors. On person thought the expansion of water in the cooling coil was causing the water to be forced out of the system via the water dispenser. Water comes into fridge, through filter to solinoid. Line one out of solinoid goes into fridge through cooling coil and exits water dispenser. Line two leave solinoid and goes to ice maker. One other suggestion was a leak at the quick disconnects and the leak (air in) would release tension inside the water lines and cause the water to drip from the dispenser tube. If I disconnect the water line from the fridge, I may get a drip, but once the pressure in the system is released / equalized no more drips. Water solinoid has been replaced 3x, I do not understand why the ice maker activating the solinoid would effect the water dispenser side. Drawing straws here
Had the same problem after replacing over seven water valves and installing a water regulator in the water line to the refrigerator with no help. Had to reduce the water pressure to about 27 pounds the reduce most of the drips. It drips an amount about the size of a quarter and when the water gets the coldest it stops the drip, but there is always a droplet at the end of the water disperser tube.
The problem is with water stored in the refrigerator side of the box. Water come in and does not leak. After the water gets colder it expands and oozes drips from the water dispenser. It is worse with the roll of tubing behind the crisper drawer on the bottom, because there is no room for expansion in the tubing. We replaced the tubing with and older style tank and it helped some, but not completely. The solution is 1. Try to buy a refrigerator with a tank instead of the roll of tubing in the bottom of the refrigerator side. 2. Don't use the water dispenser. 3. Reroute the tubing directly to the water dispenser and bypass going into the refrigerator, the water will not be as cold. 4. Avoid those built by Whirlpool.
A common problem I see is people have the wrong kind of saddle valve on their water line. Make sure you don't have a self-piercing saddle valve. You should have a drill type saddle valve on the cold water line. Reason why, not enough water pressure to the water valve on the fridge. This will let the valve on the fridge hang slightly open which will cause a drip. Check this first. You will find info on this in the installation section of your owners manual.

I plumbed in a separate line in 1/2" copper, then adapted to the white reinforced hose (same used on toilets). The shut off is a 1/2" gate valve.
Two days ago, I found one the the outlet lines on the water valve leaking (water on floor), I pushed the line back into the water valve and that leak stopped. Since then the drip at the water dispenser comes less often. I fogot to mention the drip does not happen immediately after taking water from the dispenser, takes about 1 hour before it drips. In the past (before tech changed water valve and door anti siphon (last week))if I did not use the dispenser and shut off the ice maker, it would drip (not right away) till the pressure in the system equalized (?????) and then not drip any longer (again nothing used, therefore water valve not actuated). I have not checked this theory again since the pieces where changed last week. Note: There must be a buildup /expansion in pressure in the system before dispenser drips (reason for delay between drips). Maybe I should add, water pressure in the home is within range.
