First and cheepest option first would be to try diffrent software or try it with the generic windows wireless search..

the next thing to do would be just to buy a signal boost

hope this helps

Yup! You can change it there is no problem. You can also install them both in your laptop if you want. Because there signal is coming from different IP's

Instaling broadband stick?

Welcome to FixYa! Based on your question, you have a few options:
- If your broadband stick came with a self-installation cd, you just have to insert the cd to your pc then wait for the program to respond. Do not plug-in yet the broadband stick unless specified by the cd. The program will give you a step by step procedure on how to install it. - If in case it does not have its own installation cd, then it will vary on what kind of broadband stick you have for the way to install them will vary. Since I don't know the brand of your broadband stick I'll just provide you basic steps on how to install it.
  • Plug-in the broadband stick to your pc.
  • Wait for the program to respond. Once the broadband stick has been detected an install wizard will show up. Just follow the steps on the wizard by clicking next and by accepting the agreement. This will lead you into the part where it would connect your internet and it will tell you if you have successfully installed it.
  • If it does not respond, you could go to the hard drive and search for your device. Once you found it, open the file, look for install.exe and double click on it. Then follow the same procedure given.
  • Once your done with the installation wizard, your pc will restart and it will tell you if the broadband has been successfully been installed and if its working properly.
Hope this helps! Thank you for using FixYa!

Hard to catch a signal from internet i'm using a globe broadband.

Your location matters a lot with mobile broadband. Contact Globe and ask them if they have some booster or something, if not, then all you can do is adjust your location and find the place where your signal is a lot better.

hope this helps.

I have a USB broadband for my internet. I got it from my service provider, certainly for a fixed pay per month. However the signal is so slow in spite of the internet speed of 2 mbps because of poor signal...

You can't connect the any antenna you bought to your PC. Normally, any Wireless Boardband router/modem whether it is cable or USB connection, the antenna is usually built-in or with an external appendage sticking out from the Router/modem. You have to check with your ISP whether they have any alternative to boost the signal to your wireless modem.

If they coverage to your area is no good, look for another ISP which have much excellent band coverage.

Hope it herlps.

I have diminished signal from my Microsoft MN-500 wireless router - network is available (low signal) then disappears

if you sit close to the router after restarting it, can you connect, then step back a few steps? Also make sure no appliances are running near the router.

Linksys wireless b router

Weak signal problem can be fixed by firmware update however, if the client computer is too far from the router, it can't be helped. What you need is a wireless range expander. What it does is give you another 100% signal or atleast stronger signal to the spot or area where you have a weak or dead signal.

I need a signal booster for my zoom wireless. I

Rather than going down the route of signal boosters, I would reccomend "homeplugs" This runs your broadband signal through your electricity ring main. You can then extract the broadband connection at any plug socket you want. Have a look at the link.
