The pass code should be 0000 (four zeros), it's always been that for
Plantronics headsets. Here are a couple of things to try. First,
remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may
become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often.
Simply turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few
seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. Second, you
want to reset the headset. The attached user guide for the Plantronics
Explorer 230 on page 7 will show you how to turn off / on the headset
and page 4 will walk you through the pairing process. Remember to
remove any previous bluetooth connections from your phone.
powercycle both phone and headset.
turn on phone only.
turn on its bluetooth!
no turn on headset
on phone, search for headset
it should see it
now pair... type like 0000
it should pair... if not, then the headset needs a special code... see its manual for the pairing code
The head set is still set to the old phone, hold down the call control button until it starts flashing red/blue. then it will be ready for your new phone to find it. (remember if you didnt change it the password will be "0000"
i just need the passcode for the 220
