Certain function no longer show up on the LCD screen. The Infinity gives blank screen, but Macro shows up. No ISO setting screen. Selectable modes includes Red Eye, Automatic, and Noflash. The camera is over 1 year old. Tried reformatting, changing cards, resetting, etc with no change in problem. It still takes pictures and the zoom works. Any suggestions?
Faulty selector switch, may be able to fix if you have the skills, remove back cover and bend out switch contacts slightly

Tried this. It has no effect on missing functions. The switch works, but the function display for certain functions does not show on screen. eg. Infinity is not displayed, but it functions; the Macro functions and displays macro on the upper switch. The right switch, which pages through the mode settings works, but displays only 3 of the many functions: Red Eye, Auto no flash, and Auto with flash.
If I display all the settings by double clicking the function set key, I can use this to change all the function settings. It just doesn't let me do this without that extra screen overlay like it did for the first year or so.
