Timer button stuck on siemens single oven,wont reset

Press and hold the timer button (the bell picture), and whilst doing that press and hold the power button. Then let go of both at the same time. Then press the timer button 5 more times, but on the fifth time hold for a few seconds. Once in Programming mode play with the options to reset and restart descaling.

to change between fahrenheit and celsius
The temperature is preset at Fahrenheit, but can be changed to
Celsius.
To Change: Press and hold CUSTOM BROIL for 5 seconds. A
tone will sound and “C” will appear on the display. Repeat to

Replace the timer

Switch off from mains, reset the clock (not the timer) and it should work ok

I had the same problem. Hold down any button for 1 minute. That should reset the memory.

Press 2 buttons at the same time on the the left of the the timer unit, and then press one otjher button on right of timer unit, this should bring it off auto setting.

If the fan is working o/k, then in all probability the fan oven element has failed.

A common problem with fan assisted ovens.

Amazing, I had the same problem, was told the same thing, even quoted the same amount!   There must be a playbook with stupid answers by repair people.  Anyhow, here is how I unlocked my oven:  "Press and hold the 'Lock' button for 3 seconds then let go and it should unlock in about a minute."  Hope this works for you. Gently but firmly pull one of the other buttons out and use that to reset it... you can buy new buttons on ebay

I found mine did the same I pusshed the face and it came back on. It appears fault within circuitry of clock and will need to be replaced
