My camera just staring doing this too...It sucks!

my a95 doing this too. I used to have an A60 some years ago. That developed the same fault too. If you've got plenty of patience... take the camera apart, (takes about 20 - 30 mins to get at it fully) and carefully remove all ribbon cables from their connectors and reinsert. not always as easy as it sounds. i've done this before and it has worked. there's a lot of screws to take out and a lot of fiddling about. but if the camera is no good anyway - you have nothing to lose.

  • Anonymous May 18, 2009

Anyone who knows why this may occur or how to fix please post some help for me. Love this camera. Now it is depressing. pinkish tone to the display and horizontal lines

I've had my A95 since August 2005 and love it, but this problem seems chronic to others as well. Mine just starting doing this.

  • Anonymous May 19, 2009

Found this site to disasemble the A95 http://qman.fotokala.ee/
    translate it on the web.
    But screws order is missing.
Got the A95 parts schematics from another site again no screw order. I'll give it a try anyway.
    I hope it's a connector problem.

Hitting to the bottom of the camera body solved the problem with my A95.

I think, it's a CCD Error. That means a complete Line fails.

Lcd monitor pink/green tint

Check the cable going into the back of your monitor and the cable from your monitor into your computer, one of them is most likely loose.

Pink lines running across screen

Sounds like your lcd screen is bad and needs to be replaced. Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the laptop. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok without the lines, then your video card inside the computer is good but your lcd screen is bad. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same lines as your lcd screen then your video card inside the computer is bad.

It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga port. If the video shows on the external monitor that proves your video card is ok, ,but your lcd screen is bad. The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

Hi there, I have purchased over 270 fuji finepix xp10 I am having problems with: When i take a photo it looks perfect in LCD when i replay the photo it has pink horizontal lines through the whole...

Have you tried display the photos on another PC? (Or you can try to display the photos to you TV)
If the problem still exists, then the problem is likely to be with your camera.

If the pink line only appears on your PC, then this is likely to be some software/hardware problem of your PC/Monitor.

Overall pink cast and pink stipe at top of all images taken.

Never had that camera, however, had the same problem -- the pink stripe and pink cast. Turns out the lens cover was slightly cracked and not opening and closing properly. Thus -- the pink cast.

Reddish cast in photos, white objects look pink.

Hello dcmassey, the cause of the problem can be CCD imager. So, the best solution is to claim for Sony recall. If there is some other problem ask for the price estimate. Please contact the nearest Authorized Sony Service. Best regards, Arpi
