If there is no standby light, it means that the main power supply regulator board to this TV, does not get AC power at all, or there is some fault with it. It will be best to contact any service technician. If

If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First, try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there. You are simply switching. If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.
If the standby light is on and it does not respond, it is most likely to be a problem with the power supply . First try this, unplug and leave the set like that for a few hours. Then plug it back in to see if the tv attempts to turn on when you try to power it up. See if you hear a "click" even if it goes back to standby. Let me know what you found so that I can help you test the power supply board to confirm, if necessary.
go to turn tv on,hear a poping noise, once then tv standby lite blinks 3 times repeatily but no picture or audio.can you help me out with this thank you
I have the same issue. Here's a temporary solution, which is what I've been doing for the last couple of weeks, unplug the unit from the wall, just long enough for the red standby light to go out, then plug the unit back up. as soon that the red standby light comes on, press the on button the the remote or the unit. You may have to do this couple of time before it works. Somedays it works on the first try for me and then somedays I have to do it 3 to 4 time. I sure that at some point this will stop working too.
Some laptops
have issues with Windows XPs hibernation mode. To get the computer back
up again you should just hold the power button down until it shuts off
completely. Some laptops won’t shut off even if you do this. When this
happens you have to take the battery out to get it to turn off. Make
sure it is not plugged into the wall when you do this otherwise it wont
work.
Once you get the computer back running again you may
want to disable hibernation if it seems like its going to keep
happening. Go to Start, Settings Control Panel or Start, Control Panel
and go to the Power Options icon. Change the hibernation section to
never. You may want to try standby as an alternative. Standby saves all
your running applications and documents into RAM while hibernate saves
them to the hard drive. Hibernate uses less power from your battery,
but it will take you considerably longer to get the computer back up.
If you always plug the computer in then you may want to disable standby
and hibernate since you really dint need them while plugged in.
Hi.
Thats a nice tv you have there.
If your able to get free estimate from repair shop go for it.
It could only be dry joints but it could be loptx & other components which could be pricey.
