To store a speed dial on the kx-t7730 with the Advanced Hybrid System KX-TA624 you press the following keys

<pick up the receiver>
2
*
<the number you want to have as speed dial>
<the number you want to dial>
<press the square shaped key next to 0 and 9>
<wait for dial tone to return>
<hang up>

To call using the now saved speed dial, press the square shaped key and then the number you have saved to speed dial

For example

<pick up receiver> 2*1555555555<square key> <wait for dial tone> <hang up>

This will mean that when you press the square key and 1, it will dial 555555555

I need instruction manual to program speed dial

I was unable to locate a user manual for that particular device, however the basic instructions for programming speed dial functions are normally very similar between most phones.

Generally there are ONE TOUCH Speed Dial buttons labelled something like M1, M2, and M3 on the dial pad somewhere.

There should also be another button labelled PROG or STORE on the keypad as well.

Normally to program a number into a ONE TOUCH speed dial memory location you carry out the following procedure:

Lift the handset.

Then press the PROG (or STORE) button.

Now just use the number keypad to dial the full telephone number that you want to store in a Speed Dial location.

Once the full telephone number is dialed, then push the M1 button to store that phone number in the M1 One Touch Speed Dial location.

The phone may or may not show some kind of confirmation that the M1 location was just programmed, then just hang up the handset.

Now when you lift the handset and press the M1 button, the phone should automatically dial the phone number you programmed into it.

Now just repeat the same process for the M2 and M3 One Touch Speed Dial buttons with other phone numbers if necessary.

To change one of the Speed Dial numbers, just carry out the normal programming procedure for that location using the new phone number and the old number will simply be overwritten.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.

Joe.

I need to know how to program the numbers into the speed dial option. My mother's phone is a table set with large numbers #29267A ... close enough?

Before you store a telephone number in memory, make sure the dialing mode is
correctly set for the type of service you have. The default dialing mode is tone
(touch-tone), so if you have pulse (rotary) service, you must first change the dialing
mode. See “To Set the Dial Mode.” The following buttons can be stored into any
memory location: 0-9.
STORING FREQUENTLY CALLED NUMBERS
1. Pick up the handset.
2.Press the store button.
3. Push the desired memory location button.
4. Press the store button.
5.Use the handset number keys to enter the telephone number (up to 16-digits)
and press the store button.
6.Hang up the handset.
NOTE: If you make a mistake, use the delete button to delete wrong digits.
CHANGING A STORED NUMBER
Repeat the storage sequence above. The new number replaces the old number at
the memory location.
ERASING A STORED NUMBER
1. Pick up the handset.
2.Press the store button.
3.Press the memory location (0-9) to be erased.
4.Press delete for three seconds until the number in the display is erased.
5.Hang up the handset.
DIALING FREQUENTLY CALLED NUMBERS
1. Pick up the handset and press the mem button.
2. Press 0-9 for the memory location. The number dials automatically.
OR
1. Pick up the handset and press the dial button.
2. Press the review button for the desired memory location.
3. Press the dial button to dial the number.

Program phone numbers into memory

My friend, thank you for this information. I understand your frustration at not being able to program Mom's telephone number into your Durabrand so she can speed dial you.

Thank you for this information. At least now I can suspect this is a telephone to be used with a hard wire telephone system, probably in a home, and not a cell telephone.

I searched Durabrand and, well, I still don't know who they are or where they are. I was going to try to get to the instruction book that should have come with your telephone. I couldn't find any Durabrand web site. So, now I share a part of your frustration, but at least you have the telephone in your hand to work with, while I have nothing.

If this is a new device, and you don't have the instruction book, I suggest you return it to the place you bought it and get a model that has instructions with it. Perhaps you should inquire before you leave the store as to programming issues.

The best I can do at this point is offer this web site for you to search: www.archive.org. And, additionally, I will suggest there is, on the telephone, some place where you can get a menu. You will have to search the menu for the speed dial directory. Once you find that, it should be self-explaniatory.

My friend, thank you for using FixYa.com. Please come back often. Remember, good questions get good, quick answers at FixYa.com. Please include important particulars without drowning we volunteer question catchers with unnecessary details.

Thanks
