It is normal for the air to heat up as pressure increases. The temp can easily increase to 200 degrees depending on pressure. Most likely problem causing your motor to stop is the capacitor (should test to within 10 percent of rating) or using too long /thin extension cord. If capacitor is good and low power is not problem, then make sure that the check valve (non-return valve) is not leaking pressure back to the pump causing motor to overload. Good luck

Check it's in cool mode and temp setting is 3 degree less than room temp Check compressor is working with required pressure.60 PSI@ 98 degree Fahrenheit of ambient temp.If less pressure or no pressure, gas leak. Arrest leak and recharge gas.

Toget proper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre.It it's with RV, check power to RV.
Please check for loose wiring and rectify, as your cleaning with air compressor would make chances for that.

The relay seems fine, no oxidation on ceramic insert.

I used to tap the back of control panel and sometimes the compressor would start up, cool the unit, but would not come back on again by its own.

I removed the control board this weekend and it looks fine (ie, no burn marks or loose soldered connections on board as seen in other posts), however if I wiggle the wires leading from the inside top of the fridge cabinet to the control board, the compressor will come on, but again will not come on again after the temp is reached. So how do I know if the issue is with the control board and needs to be replaced, or if the issue is something else?

Thermistor problem. Replace with identical part.Check the compressor relay also.
