This is a common problem with speaker phones as well since they (as is your headset) forced to switch back and forth so microphone and 'speaker' are not on at the same time to prevent feedback.
The squeal from feedback would be far more irritating.
Your previous phone in conjunction with your headset were simply (and accidentally) a better combination.
Did you checked your phone functions thoroughly that if it's deactivated from settings? Check that. Can your phone sound when you talk in loud speaker? or can you play the music or video? They sound?
use the same button (located on the left side of the phone) that you use to turn up or down the ring sound level. do that when you are on the phone talking with someone
Hello Govany, You can try a wired headset (Not sure, but think the V3 has a port), or a Bluetooth headset. Once connected either should work around your phones internal speakers issue. Good luck.
