I have a carrier 58RAV050-12 and my furnace won't turn on. It was working earlier today but it just stopped. Any suggestions as to why?

Is it possible the drain is plugged? The newer furnaces have a moisture drain and will shut down if they are blocked., shutting them down and restarting will reset fault, but will come right back if not fixed.

Replace the circuit breaker

Sequence of events: call for heat at T-stat, inducer motor turns on, negative pressure created in heat exchanger closes pressure switch, pressure switch control wire runs through all safety's (these must all be in closed/safe position) if ok then glow plug lights. Time delay then gas valve opens, flame verified by "flame rod" t-stat = :)

Fan stop working,check fuse ,try to move key when start car,slightly up and down do not turn off.

Try turning the circuit breaker off going to the furnace. I know that works on a geothermo furnace, it may be worth a try. Leave it off for about two minutes and then try a normal restart. Good Luck and please rate my answer so I get points.

sounds like the relay for the unit may be bad, usually if a blower motor goes it stops or has a very loud humm and only goes slow

have the ac company check the actual blower wheel itself it may be slowly coming apart

HI!!! Looks like your ignitor has stop working..change your glow ignitor and you should be fine..Good luck..
