What does AWD mean on LDC panel - Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

your screen has been damaged --I assume it is LDC. check with the manufacturer if you have a warranty to see if it can be replaced. The LDC screen is layered ..soft outer layer, fluid inner layer and back is a reflective hard panel. This is what is damaged.

There was no video signal come to the panel from the video card; was the problem.

Your SUV has an All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) drive train. Simply, it means that all 4 tires are engaged (to pushing the vehicle) while you're driving it ..... unless you "disable" the AWD..... in which case, it will only use 2 wheels to power (push) the vehicle

AWD is computer controlled in your 05 Murano. AWD lock is for low speeds under 10 MPH or something like that. I've had my 05 Murano since 05 and never used AWD lock. Between VDC and AWD I've never had any problem getting around. My salesmen told me it was for low speed/towing...I never tow so I've never used it.

If the vehicle is made to be a AWD you cannot get it out of AWD unless you take off the front drive shaft

do you mean the plastic cover has become scratched or the screen itself is malfunctioning?

If the screen is malfunctioning return it.

If you have scratched the screens protective cover there is a great product called "displex" (i buy it off ebay) buy it with the special cloth, Its a very fine abrasive that will polish out scratches and blemishes.
It takes some time rubbing the screen to work but it usually comes up a treat (dont press too hard) Iv recovered some absolutly trashed screen covers with it. Once its sorted use a screen protector to keep it good
