The low humming sound is indicative that the start / run capacitor has failed. It give the motor an electrical jolt to get it going. Call for service and tell them the story.
When the water pressure is low, the water flow is just less.
When the diverter opens, it lets whatever water is there pass through, So there just has to be enough pressure to lift the water from the water input past the top of the tub to where it sprays out,
I grew up in a house with its own water system. When the water pressure was low, it just took longer to fill the tub. As the pressure dropped the flow became less and less, Even at a dribble water continued to flow until the water level switch turned it off.
turn on your washer start programme while it is filling turn of power point if water still enters mchine you have a faulty water valve.if water stops there is a problem with the water level switch or hose that connects from outer bowl to pressure switch maybe perished or split.hope this helps you.
Remove the control console cover. Find the water level switch.
It has a small tube attached to it.
Remove the tube and blow air through it. It is probably stopped up. Reattach it to the water level switch.
Look over the length of the tube and may sure it is not pinched.
Set the washer to spin and run spin for about 1 minute.
Then run water on a lower level and see if it shuts off.
If not replace the water level switch.
That is because the water level switch get stuck when water level reaches that particular point.
The water level switch is activated either by a floater sensor or by a membrane sensor that detects water pressure/volume, depending on the model. On washing machines it is usually a membrane switch, and that is faulty on your machine.
