If the yellow tint is uniformly over the whole screen then try changing the video colour tint, hue, phase and other chroma related settings in the menu.

I have a Christie RoadRunner L8 that fires up,lamps turn on and about 5 seconds after the lamps fire up it shuts down and both the warning temp. and ready lights flash at the same time. It seems to me it must be a sensor that tells it to shut down thinking that the machine is too hot-all the fans work and all of the filters are clean and it is moving serious air any clue and if so where do I start to look for such items? Thanks in advance Kirk

Main circuit board repair time. Expensive repair....this projector was made by Sanyo.

This is an indication that either the lamp is bad or the ballast is bad. I would try a new lamp first. Also, there are air flow sensors in the lamp area that should be cleaned. If you have access to compresed nitrogen, try blowing out the entire unit to remove all dust and debris. Check to be sure that the fans are turning freely as well.

reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't change anything, clean the dust out of the projector and check the second diffuser lens (fly-eye) next to the lens. also check the polarizers next to the lcd panels. they tend to fry due to excessive dust and heat.

check to see if the fans are moving. if not, replace the fans. if the fans don't come up, the projector shuts down to protect the circuitry and the lamp. if the fans are fine, most likely the power supply/ballast is not producing enough power to keep the lamp lit and shuts down.
