Your going to have to a place that sells batterys and they will have charts and books that tell this information .
But as a general rule get the battery that will fit into the tray that has the most cold cranking AMPS and the longest reserves amps for cranking time before it dosn't have enough to turn the starter and the engine over .
Hi Carmen- I am experiencing the same issue with my 2 DIgilux 1 camera, after a long time of not using them. In fact, One of them had a broken lens motor for the longest time and that seems to have fixed itself. I have 2 new batteries on order to see if thtat resolves.
Any battery left in a charger is still hooked up to a circuit. Depending on the charger this can mean a slow discharge is possible. Ryobi's Maintenance Charge Mode means the charger will 'refresh' the battery at regular intervals, usually every 30 days. A battery's lifespan is determined by how many times it is discharged/recharged so to get 'the longest possible battery life' it is desirable to reduce the number of times a battery is recharged. One way is to use the battery until it is dead or near so another is to remove the battery from the charger when it's fully charged to reduce the number of times the charger refreshes the battery.
I suggest checking the firmware version of the device vs the latest available on the website and update if necessary. Make sure to have battery charged.
the longest time is unknown but the longest time is well ... u know... is WHEN YOUR PRESIOUS LABTOP OR COMPUTER BLOWS OR OVERHEATS AND NOT WORK ANYMORE IS THE RECORD of the longest time EVER!!!
they say 6-8hrs if its brand new...but i always do it for 24 hrs so the battery will have the longest life possible and you should have years of reliable service from that Phone battery.
The best batteries to buy for this camera is Energizer.... No matter what batteries you use, they are going to go fast, but I noticed these last the longest.
What make is your machine?
Try to buy an extended battery pack which can last almost twice the normal battery attached.
Also buy a battery certified by your Computer Manufacturer only. A Chinese make or a locally made battery will only damage your machine.
