My HP Photosmart D5160 won't power on?

If the product uses only a power cord, follow these steps to make sure that power is properly supplied to the product.

Step four: Service the Product
If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product by calling hp at 1800-474-6836

Connect the printer dorectly to the wall outlet.try unplugging waiting for 30 seconds and replugging the printer.
Now check if you still face this issue then its a hardware malfunction with your printer no need to worry.
Call up hp at 1800-474-6836 and lets see what else can be done.

Infact the machine cover is not a customer replacable part, hence u ll not be able to open it . however if u try to open it make sure u ll not break the bezel.

Hello sir; The primary cleaning way is print head and ink cell, Open the cover let ink cartridge move to the center then UNPLUG power cord, now you freely to move ccarrier for and back.

Error: 0xf0af8004). These error codes indicate that the product has an
internal condition.
Solution
Use the instructions below to resolve the issue by restarting the product.
Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the product, but leave the product turned on.
Open the cover of the product and remove the print cartridges.
Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.
Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and wait for one minute.
Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
Close the cover.
If prompted, print a calibration page.
Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.
If these steps did not resolve the issue, contact HP technical support for assistance.
