I try to print an A4 sized print on my Canon Pixma Ip4200 printer. It prints half a page on the first sheet, then a little on the next A4 sheet, then a little on the next. And so on until it spoilt about ten sheets of paper. Any suggestions what is going on here?

If you are in the US, your printer is set for letter, not a4. Set the paper type as a4 in the driver.

SOURCE: Printing problem with HP Laserjet P2015 printer

This can be an issue with one of the faulty sensor across the printer.
Please check if you are able to print from tray 1, e.g. a configuration page.
A config page can be printed by holding the Green Button and releasing it as soon as the Triangle light comes on. This would take approx 5 secs.
If the printer is able to print from tray 1, then it could be an issue with the tray 2 pickup sensor.
Check if the tray 2 pickup sensor ( a black plastic piece to the right of the tray 2 pickup roller) is moving freely (front and back), also check if tray 2 pickup roller is not able to rotate completely.

If the tray 2 sensor is not moving freely and of the pickup roller is rotating completely, then reseat the pickup roller.

Normal use with good media causes wear resulting in the need to periodically clean or replace the pickup roller. Additionally, the use of poor media might require more frequent replacement of the pickup roller. Replacing the pickup roller Complete the following to replace the pickup roller:

CAUTION: Failure to complete this procedure might damage the printer. Unplug the power cord from the printer, and allow the printer to cool.

SOURCE: Printer prints all pages on one sheet of paper

what application are you printing from? also, can you do a print preview to see if there are more than one page? if that works, then your printer mechanism is not following the driver information from the print queue manager.

SOURCE: Problem printing multiple pages on one sheet!

The problem is the PCL5 driver.
Replace it with a PCL6 driver.

Apparently, Microsoft issued an update that broke PCL5 drivers.
Perhaps they were trying to save paper. LOL!

Prints black and white fine, but when printing color photos, wrong colors are used and/or only half the picture is printed. The second half sometimes comes out on the next sheet of paper. Nozzles aren't...

The color printer might not print in color due to dirt and other unwanted particles present in the printer. Due to this unwanted particles, the ink used for printing and other materials might become blocked inside the printer device and this might lead to some printing issues. In order to resolve this issue, regular cleaning of the printer is necessary.

The page prints to a small version in top left hand corner. everything is set to A4. Have tried all settings Have tried paper feed from back and front. Unable to get it to print a full size A4 page even...

Make sure on the Page Setup tab that the Page Layout says 'Normal-size' and not 'Poster' (poster tries to place four documents on a single printed sheet). If this is not the problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver.

Cannot fill a3 sheet

Have you set up the page as A3? If so, should be ok if you set the printer paper size to A3. If you set up the page on A4 you will need to tell the the printer to 'scale to A3' and it's best to say you want to preview before printing
