Hello, cleaning may help, but I would bet the coolant in the crt's is mildewed, a common issue with Phillips projection sets. you can unplug and remove the back cover and get to the lens assembly to clean them with a lint free towel and glass cleaner, spray the towel and wipe them all 3 off and dry with a clean towel and re-install the back cover and see if that helped. If it didn't it's the coolant in the crt's that will need to be changed by a technician. tks

You will need the remote control in order to do the adjustments. You can get one from www.tvrepairworld.com leave them a email with model number of the set your needing the remote to they have most remotes available

WELL IF YOU HAVE ALLOT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS,I'M GETTING READY TO RESOLDER THE MAIN BOARD, EITHER IT WILL WORK AND SAVE YOU MONEY OR TAKE IT TO THE SHOP.CHECK TO SEE IF THE WARRENTY IS UP....LOL THE TV'S TODAY ARE NOT THAT BAD $$$$$ I THINK THAT ALL DO.

have you tried to take off the front screen and clean the lens and mirrors yet? if this is a philips 9or a magnavox you will most likily need to change the fluid inside the picure tubes

I was able to pull up your Model number on several of my service sites. It is a Phillips/Magnavox. You can also try http://www.tvrepairkits.com/ . They carry the fluid kit that you are looking for. When you order from them you will get a kit with instructions on how to do the repair, step-by-step.

Try checking some of the tunning and coupling capacitors around the horizontal section as well for some crystalized solder joints in that area.
