Pull crown out to second position then press start button till it goes to 12.00 then push crown back in ....job done......

Testimonial: "Thanks for speedy reply.... This has not worked though...when you pull the crown out twice (and fully) it stops all hands ticking and automatically returns the large timing second hand to the second interger from the zero mark at twelve. Tried combination of pulling crown once rather fully but no joy.....any other advice?"

How do i change the time on the three small dials

Hello Garrett,

"Three small dials"... My guess is that we are talking
a chronometer... (stopwatch)... "ZERO Process".

Not only are the three sub-dials usually settable... but also the sweep second hand.

Trouble: After resetting the watch... the hands go back to the same position...

Solution: You want to "ZERO" your dials... one by one.

These watches typically need to have the stem out to the third position... then press the top "start" timer button... observe ONE of your dials is moving. As it approaches the desired number release the button and step it into position with single button pushes.

Go to the bottom "stop" button... Repeat the process!

Push the stem in to the middle "set" position...
Repeat the process!

Again... press the top "start" timer button... zero
and finally press the top "stop" timer button... and zero.

Set the time and date... push that stem back into the home position... and record 35 seconds on your watch... stop and reset...

If everything does not come back exactly to ZERO...

Then that is called an iterative process (do it again).

Fine tune it!

Good Job.
(comment me back if I didn't hit the spot)

Pressing reset doesn't go to zero. sweep second hand goes to 57 seconds

Pull out the crown and use either a combination or one of the cronograph buttons, this will allow you to adjust the hand positions

Resetting stopwatch dials - Armani AR5331

When you reset the big seconds hand to zero, the hour and the minute hand are not engaged in this function, so, there is no fault with the watch movement.
Do as follows:
1) pull out crown and set the hour and minute hands at 6 o'clock (they must be lined perfectly in opposite directions)
2) push the crown in half way back (not completely)
3) push and hold the button at 2 o'clock (set the big seconds hand to zero) and release it when done
4) when big seconds hand is zeroed push the crown back in
5) pull the crown out again and set desired time
6) push the crown back in.
If all actions described do not work, you will have to visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask to refit chronograph hand as in this case it is out of balance (not pointed at exact mark).

Set Timex chronograph to zero

To adjust the chronogragh hands:

Pull the crown out to the "B" position (Timex defines the "A" position as all the way in, "B" as half way out and "C" as all the way out).

Press "Pusher B" (the button at the 4 o'clock position) repeatedly until the hand in the "10 o'clock eye" is at the 30 min (straight up) position.

Pull the crown out to the "C" position.

Press "Pusher A" (the button at the 2 o'clock position) repeatedly until the second hand resets to the "0" (or "60" or "12 o'clock") position.

Press "Pusher B" repeatedly until the hand in the "2 o'clock eye" is in the "0" (straight up) position.

Push in the crown all the way to the "A" position.

This has worked sucessfully on both my T2M467 and T2M552.

I have a seiko flight watch, unknown of the model, second hand doesn't reset

I guess the blue faced SEIKO is a Flightmaster (Model: 7T92- OCFO)and it is a great watch. This is a common problem with most chronographs and this happens due to misalignment with usage.

All you need to do is pull out the locking crown all the way out (2nd Step) as if setting time. and then press and hold the top / left button and at first the milli seconds hand resets. after which you have to press the borrom / right button to move the seconds hand in to place. and then reset the time and lock the crown. You can repeat this for Milli Seconds, Seconds, Minutes & hours hands.
Hope this helps,
Krishna Chaitanya GT.

Reset Stopwatch Hands on CL1111 ?

Try setting the crown to position 2 - i.e. the position normally used to adjust the date.  Then use the top and bottom stopwatch buttons to adjust the minute hand and 1/10th hand respectively.
