Could be because LP record mode was used.
Alo it may be tape dropouts.
Dropouts occur after too many record/erase cycles.

My Handycam shows a bluish screen(DCR-HC32E)

did you happen to drop the cam? there could be a technical error with the LCD screen. take it to the nearest Sony service center and have them take a look at it. you can try resetting the cam and see if it changes anything.

Sony dcr-trv25 when playing back tapes sound goes on and off pic sometimes distorted tried cleanig with tape still doing same thing I dropped camera from a standing position (3ft) nothing broke thats when...

Yes sounds as though the audio playback head had become misaligned by the drop... You will have to get it back in position again. Thats a job and a half though, really only something that can be done by a tech?

Sony dcr-dvd105 no sound

Try this:
Play back a recently recorded scene through the viewing screen. Make sure any "mute" setting is turned off and turn the volume up. If you can hear the sound, the problem is not in the camera. Also, run through your menu's audio settings to make sure that they are set correctly.
If you can't hear any sound, repeat the process with an external mike attached. If this gives you sound, the camera's built in mike is defective. Time to hand it in for repair.
If you still can't hear any sound, something else is wrong with the camera. Again, send it in for repair.

Sony Handycam DCR DVD108

The only way to cut off the sound on a handycam is to connect up a blank micro jack plug to the microphone input. Unfortunately the DVD108 doesn't have this option.
