I have a 40 g ps3, when i start up cod 4 the ps3 tells me i need to update to version 1.30, so i select udpate. It then goes to the loading screen and after a few seconds the ps3 shuts off and restarts. Any ideas? It isnt the ps3 system update, it the update for the actual game. It never gets to the downlaod progress bar at all, it goes there, says "please wait" and then the ps3 just restarts without applying the update.

you have to diable, media server in your network settings. also if you want a chat invitatation to work both parties must disable it.

hey guys. the problem is that the blue ray reader is some how broken and it won't work. mine kept freezing during games like after 3 mins. and it wouldnt read any more discs for that day. you need to change the blue ray reader and that costs about 175$. thats alot of money and its probably not worth it.

Sounds like a problem with your blu-ray drive.
Try playing a blu-ray movie and a dvd.
Let me know what happens and we'll go from there.
