To say this you need to be sure the valve is not faulty, you need to test if voltage is present at the valve and if yes fit a new valve, assuming of course that water supply is good.

SOURCE: Won't take in water

Plug off the mains. Unscrew the top, you will find the valve wher the water comes in. Shut off faucet in wall. Unscrew hoses to change valve. Note which hose goes where.

Hello my tricity bendix dishwasher won't take in water, it will pump it out and when I turned water off at the mains and disconnected the water pipe and put it in a bucket turned mains back on the...

Hi

When the Dishwasher won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the float switch assembly. When the water fills your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the float switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

I have a tricity bendix dh101 stopped working cold water not going in to manchaine many thanks if u can help

Possible that the INLET valve is faulty /clogged or there is no voltage to switch ON the inlet valve.
So measure the voltage at the inlet valve, also check if the inlet filter is clogged.
Check the water pressure at the inlet to confirm, remove the line from the inlet valve and confirm the flow when activated.

TNO WATER IS GOING INTOTHE MACHINE, THEREFORE THE MACHINE WON'T START?

Check to see if you have water to the washer first...if so, then you can take off the hoses to see if the screen filters in the valve are clogged...if not then I would check the inlet solenoid for operation...sometimes they make a buzzing sound...if you have some kind of continuity tester...then you can take the solenoid valve out and check the windings for continuity...if you are using an ohm meter it should read between 10-200 ohms(depending on model)

Solve Your

I have spent most of the afternoon looking for the float etc. In frustration I upended the machine to look for the inlet hose point, water started pouring out so I put the machine back in the upright position. Now it's filling with water and working again. Maybe there was something in the hose which became free with upending it. Not sure, but worth a try, it worked for me!

My washing machine takes in water when turned off. If not attended to for a week or so will flood out onto the floor. The electrics have been isolated at the wall.

That is a contact to ground , either on inlet valve connector or on wiring harness. If it is not that it can be a bad timer board, but that is really unusual in this case.

Check pressure from power supply, check if the inlet valve is faulty or obsstructed.

My Tricity Bendix won't work

Check out the water inlet solenoid valve if this is clicking then it is probably the water level pressure switch which appears to be controling the flow of water mechanicaly dependent on whether the water is high enough in the machine and therefore giving enough pressure to close the switch .This may be stuck closed.

Tricity Bendix washer won't take fabric softner in rinsing cycle

Your machine possibly has a defective water inlet valve which is preventing water from entering the dispenser channel to flush the fabric softner into the machine. The inlet valve in inside of your machine right where the washer hoses attach. the solenoid valves on the inlet will need to be checked with a multimeter to verify if they are working properly.
