It will be better to seek expert support from Sony in this case. Never do any adjustments to this set, without proper knowledge.

How do I unlock the setup options for horizontal & vertical adjustments on my 55" HDT 51M 2006 Plasma TV won't let me access the horizontal or vertical options in setup in RGB 1 mode.

You have to enter the service mode option to it, to do horizontal and vertical adjustments. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Hi. I need to make default setting to print grayscale. Kindly give me the steps. Thanks

Color/black mix
This item allows you to configure printer settings to optimize printer and cartridge performance for the printing environment. If the printer is primarily used for black printing (over two-thirds of the pages are black only), change the printer settings to MOSTLY BLACK PAGES.

Setting the color/black mix
1. Press Menu to enter the MENUS.
2. Press to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE.
3. Press to select CONFIGURE DEVICE.
4. Press to highlight SYSTEM SETUP.
5. Press to select SYSTEM SETUP.
6. Press to highlight COLOR/BLACK MIX.
7. Press to select COLOR/BLACK MIX.
8. Press or to select the desired option. (Select MOSTLY BLACK PAGES)
9. Press to select the option.
10. Press Menu.

Select MOSTLY BLACK PAGES if you print mostly monochrome print jobs, or a combination of color and monochrome print jobs.

Need to know how to invert a picture on a epson projector

You didn't give your model, but on the Epson I have (a PowerLite S1), the projection mode is controlled through the "Settings" menu. This may not be right for your model, but I'd think another Epson would be similar.

On mine, this is how it works:

1) Press "Menu" on the projector (or remote, which will work the same way)
2) Use the "V" (down arrow) to highlight "Setting"
3) Press "Enter" to select the "Setting" menu
4) Press "Enter" to select the "Screen" sub-menu
5) Down-arrow to "Projection" and press "Enter" to select it
6) Use the up- and down-arrows to highlight the arrangement you want from the choices offered:
  • "Front": normal use
  • "Front/Ceiling": image is vertically flipped
  • "Rear": image is horizontally flipped
  • "Rear/Ceiling": image is flipped both horizontally and vertically
7) Press "Enter" to select
8) Press "Menu" to exit the menus

I hope this works for you, or at least gives you a starting point. Good luck, and thanks for using Fixya!
