Error 535 on a Dish Network system ca be caused by a number of different things - but most likely is a result of the alignment or aiming of the dish has changed. This can be due to wind, or something that struck the dish and caused it to move.
Unless you have some way to access the dish and know how to realign it, you should call Dish Network at 1.888.236.2202 and tell them about the error. They will be able to solve the problem for you.
It's possible the dish may need to be repointed. Try running a check switch test. Go to Menu > System Setup (6) > Installation (1) > Point Dish (1) > Check Switch > Test. This will provide more info on the satellite signal.
If you have run that test and the problem continues I would need to see about getting a tech out. If so, you can send me an email at [email protected] for further assistance!
Hello this is luke. I do not know of any 04 ee error code on dish network. The closest will be 004. Try to check if it is coming from the receiver or from the tv by unplugging the receiver from wall outlet while tv is on. If the code stays, then it is from the tv, if it goes away with the lights on receiver, it is from the receiver. Let me know.
Hi cesarchivas2 what you will need is your password to unlock your receiver, if you do not remember it you will need to call in and reset your password. Then you will have your receiver unlocked, the reset when you call in can take up to an hour to fully take effect.
Are you getting an error message (024 or 311)? If you are still having problems with your receiver, please call 1-800-333-3474. We may need to replace the receiver. I hope this helps.
Make sure that the software is correct. Should be P4.07 you can go into the DVR and replace the hard drive but I would suggest getting Dish Home Plan, Replace the receiver and then cancel the Home Plan. Talk to Dish Network and they will work with you. for tech support go to: tech.dishnetwork.com
delete all recordings from hard drive unplug the receiver from the wall for 5 minutes and plug it back in, if 311 error message appears call dish network
that's not true i work for dish network if u have an LNB drift of -8 or +8 you can get a free lnb service call and they can come out n fix at no charge
