Follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

  • Secure the lamp cover and the air filter cover of the projector body if the projector does not power on. Ensure that the power cable is firmly connected to the projector and an active power plug. If the projector was turned off and then on quickly--let it sit for 90 seconds before trying to turn it on.

  • 2
Replace the projection lamp if the projector will not power on or if the lamp indicator is flashing. Turn off the projector and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Locate the lamp cover and remove or loosen the lamp cover with a screwdriver. Carefully remove the projection lamp from the projector housing using the handle, if available.

  • 3
Place the new projection lamp into the projector housing and secure it to the projector. Replace the lamp cover and reset the lamp timer. Power on the projector to ensure the new lamp is working correctly.

  • 4
Remove the projector from the enclosed area to allow air circulation if it constantly overheats. Place the projector into an open area and make sure there is no blockage for the ventilation holes. Unplug the projector for at least 45 minutes to allow it to soft reset.

  • 5
Clean the air filter to allow the projector better air circulation. Turn off the projector and unplug it from the outlet. Remove the air filter cover and use a vacuum to remove dust from the area. If the filter is unable to be cleaned correctly or is damaged, then replace it. Pull the air filter from the projector and place the new one in the now empty slot. Close and secure the air filter cover.

Hello I have a Dell 1209S and my laptop cannot connected, I am using win8 and with other laptop with win7 I do not have problems. Can be this a problem with the resolution?

There is a dell 109S but no model like you listed. It does say it is compatible with windows 8.1 So it must be the settings or the function key on the laptop.

If they are white dots on a darker background then the dlp chip is failing and needs to be replaced. There are no fixes for that problem.

Small vertical lines in background

Very strange that the lines would appear on your prints aswell. Must be a faulty video adapter but I have no idea how this is getting to your paper - printer.

Get someone to look at the machine locally I don't think that we can solve this over the internet. thanks.

Monitor distorting in screen halves after warmup

It probably isn't worth repairing as the cost will exceed what you would spend on replacing it.

Monitor displays vertical lines

Just an update. If that doesnt work then your vid card is damaged and you need a new one. Considering it is 128 mb it cant be too new. Also make sure if your motherboard is agp you get and agp card and if its pci-e get a pcie card.

TV problem

Hello Barbara76,
Is this a Horizontal line (inch or two) across the screen, if so
the fault could be either a faulty Vertical IC,Faulty Electrolytic
capacitors or just simple dry joints.
