Fixing a Plasma TV that won't recognize cable signal

Do a reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. My ipod not recognized by itunes in order to reinstall the software

Connections b> The USB cable must be securely connected both to the iPod and to the selected USB port on the computer. Reattach the cable at both ends, and click "Computer" in the start menu to see if the iPod is shown connected to the drive for that USB port. b> Drivers b> If the drivers of the computer responsible for the USB interface are out of date, malfunctioning or incorrectly installed, that may also cause the iPod to not be recognized by the computer. If this is the case, the device may not appear in iTunes and there may be an exclamation point next to the device in Device Manager. b> Software b> The latest version of iTunes is recommended to best communicate with the various models of iPod. Go to the iTunes website or click "Help" and "Check for Updates" in iTunes to install the most recent update. Further, the computer must be running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 for PCs, or OS X v.10.4.11 or later for Macs. b> Battery b> The iPod's battery must have sufficient charge to be recognized in iTunes; charge it either via USB connection or another power source if the indicator shows a low battery. Once the battery has charged, try to connect the iPod to the computer via USB cable again.

IPod Touch won't be read

Wont read what ?

Sometimes, you might find that your computer does not read that the iPod is connected to the USB port, preventing the synchronization of new files.

There are several potential causes for this lack of hardware recognition and many steps can be taken to troubleshoot the causes.

Reset your iPod's internal software using the key combination appropriate for your model. Apple's support documentation details how to do this for each available model.

(See Resources)

Install all iTunes software updates and restart your computer.

Connect your iPod directly to a USB port on the computer.

Do not attach through a keyboard port or USB hub.

These might not provide enough power to operate the iPod.

Connect the iPod to a secondary USB port.

If the iPod is recognized now, the original USB port might be damaged.

Connect the iPod using a secondary iPod USB cable.

If the iPod is recognized now, the original USB cable might be damaged and should be replaced.

Restore the iPod using a computer that can read it as a last resort. Connect the iPod to another computer, launch iTunes and select "Restore" from the iPod information screen.

This will erase all data and restore default settings.

Contact Apple support or visit an Apple store for further help if your iPod still cannot be seen. An advanced hardware issue might be present and a warranty hardware replacement might be indicated.

Hope this helps

Iphone not recognized when attached with usb connnection

Try using different usb ports on your computer. If it doesn't work then try hooking up your iphone to another computer. If it still isn't being recognized then try a different IPHONE USB cable.
If your Iphone still can't be recognized after all of this then read the article at the link below.
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538

Also try restoring your iphone to factory defaults if necessary. This is a last resort. If your iphone still won't get recognized by the computer then it could be the connection on the Iphone is defective and in that case replacing the phone is the only option.

I-tunes doesn't recognize it.When i connect the i-pod classic 120 gb i-tunes does not recognize the i-pod to sync music.

try first manually resetting the ipod. do this by holding the select button, which is the center button and the menu button, the up button, for about 5 secs or until you see the apple log then release both keys, then re-attach to usb cable, see if it can be detected by itunes,if still not, try using other usb cable or relocate to other usb port on your pc or laptop, for more information check here... http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1369

I took my ipod to factory settings as one person told me to do and the computer still does not recognize the ipod. Its not the ipod, it's the computer!

May be the usb port. If you have a direct usb port at the back of the unit, try it. If don´t, look at the installation of the usb in your settings.
