Your don't explain which Logitech Harmony you own. I have seen on some harmonys that the auto programming for a specific device isn't sufficient to give useful enough functionality, the desired functions must be added manually. I'm assuming the device in question is listed for your remote. If it's not you are dead in the water. Your only option is to go back online with harmony, verify the device can be added and learn how to add functions manually. That's all I can help with the limited information you have supplied. Your onkyo receiver and remote controller only decodes 4 digit codes so what you have to do is to call the manufacturer of the remote controller it self and ask for the hexa decimal codes for their remote. They should provide it to you coz they're the ones responsible on doing that.

Well the next step would be to make sure that all the settings are set to subwoofer yes, and set your crossover as well. The amp usually has a crossover which tells the microprocessor which frequencys to send to the sub.

if what Dark_Orbit said does not work try doing a master reset by ressing and holding the dvr/vcr button and stand by button simultaneously. This would erase all your assignments so you would need to reassign all your sources hooked up to your onkyo.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! IT FIXED THE HUMMING!!! I was ready to throw the receiver out the door. I have Comcast and I went into the Main Menu, Setup, Audio Setup, and then changed the Optimal Stero setting to yes and SHAZZAM it fixed it no more humming and I now can put the Onkyo Receiver on 10 and still get sound threw the speakers. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
