I AM GETTING AN ERROR CODE WHEN TRYING TO BOOT MY PRESARIO 1200 COMPUTER "0210:STUCK KEY 39". WHICH KEY IS IT OR IS THAT DETERMINED BY THE CODE?
I got the 0210 stuck key error on a Lenovo Thinkpad T61, pc would not bootup, made sure keyboard was connected and cleaned with aircan and then went into bios and via F1 on startup, then went to CONFIG then to Keyboard/Mouse then I disabled the TrackPoint. Boots up fine now but the red nipple mouse is disabled due to action mentioned above. Looks like a warranty fix for Lenovo since this is a newer laptop. If it was out of warranty i would just skip using it and leave it disabled. The trackpad works fine.

There are issues with
the ThinkVantage Button at boot as it doesn't do what its suppose to. Just use the F1(BIOS Setup), F11(pre-boot/recovery
area) and F12(boot device
selection).
Just
a reminder to practice press and release when pressing a button. We sometimes get impatient and do a key hold
down for a while rather than multiple
press and release.
I hope this would resolves your ERROR 0210: Stuck key

Yes, i installed the floppy drive and 128 RAM. Now the computer is showing everything is working except for this error code. I am going to plug in a keyboard to see if computer will boot up. But how do I determine which key is stuck?
Yes, but it won't boot. Once Compaq is on the screen it beeps for 3 to 5 sec then the cursor remains in the upper left corner-flashing. On the screen is shows
BIOS Version 0F15
0512K Cache SRAM Passed
System BIOS shadowed
Video BIOS shadowed
UMB upper limit segment address: EC1B
Mouse initialized
Fixed Disk 0: FUJITSU MHM2060AT
ATAPI CD-ROM: NEC CD-ROM DRIVE:282
ERROR
0210: stuck key 39
Then F1 or F10 as the option.
I went to F10 and looked @ PhoenixBIOS Setup Utility, it appears to be on auto. I am not quite sure if I am looking at it right. After looking at this and trying to reboot the error message now reads 0210: stuck key 31 (instead of 39).
Also, I inserted the recovery disk and was able to get to the directory. It appears that the "n" & "u" keys do not work. I will attach a keyboard to see if this helps. Thanks for your help!
Can you get to the bios? Once in there you'll need to make sure that your new devices are enabled and that the bios is set for auto? Are you able to get there to check? Also, try removing the RAM and see if it makes a difference. You may have a bad stick.
I don't think there's necessarily a stuck key. It's more likely a bios error. Do you have the option to press F1 to continue?
Have you made any resent changes to your system?
