Xerox workcentre mac. Hi, I just bought a xerox 7232 machine and it works good with PC but doesn't print from my MAC. I get errors such as the tray is empty or it tries to print but nothing happens. I just downloaded the IOS Maverik. Could someone please help

C-0 declares that the size of the document you are trying to print is incorrect with the paper size you have in your machine's tray. To remove the error, press the red button on the control panel and check the size of the document within the printing properties. If the papre size of the document and the paper in the tray are correct then try to use another tray or bypass tray. If the problem still persists, call for service.

Your error code usually means: Scanner can not find the specified folder/storage location
-wrong document path

016-799 is a printer paper conflict error. All you have to do for the AS/400 to print, is to make suree that tray 2 in the printer is set up to do landscape printing. There has to be at least one tray for portrait, and one for landscape in order for the AS/400 to print.

Recently I had to configure a 17" Aluminum PowerBook and a Xerox Workcentre PE 16. That multifunction laser monochrome printer is not supported by MacOS X, but I tried all the same.... and no glue for that, until I went on the Samsung webpage and noticed their SCX-4216F printer. This machine is the same as the PE 16.

So I downloaded the lastest drivers from Samsung's download centre (drivers for Tiger too), installed the drivers on the PowerBook (running 10.3.4), connected the printer and when I selected the printer ... tada! It automatically selected the Samsung driver, so I clicked on OK and started printing. Everything was OK!

But it doesn't end here: even the Lexmark X215 MPF has the same chassis as the Xerox and Samsung. Yet, on Lexmark's website there are no Mac OS X drivers, but Samsung's drivers work just the same. I hope this hint will help others...

Xeror does not list a Mac driver for this unit. There is a Xerox Global print Driver, which supposedly "drives " all Xeror printers. But again I do not know if it will work on Mac's.There is a phone for this driver support @ 18773626567
