Check the Power Ensure that the shredder top is firmly placed in the shredder basket if the unit will not operate. If the top is not in place the feeder will not work and accept any paper. Make sure it is firmly plugged into the wall outlet and that the outlet is active. Rest the Shredder Let the shredder cool down if the shredder has been running continuously for a long time. It may have overheated and needs to be left in the off position for at least 30 minutes to reset. Verify the basket is empty or not too full as that will cause the shredder to deactivate. Clear Paper Jam Rotate the shredder into "Auto" and reverse to loosen any paper jam that is stopping the gears. Pull out any papers that are sticking out from the shredder feeder. If there is no progress then unplug the shredder and remove the shredder top from the bin. Turn it upside down and use tweezers to free any paper that is blocking the gear. Auto Mode Not Working Select the "Auto" option and feed paper into the center of the feeder tray if the shredder is only working in reverse mode. The sensor is located in the middle of the feeder tray and could be blocked by jammed paper. Use an index card to firmly unblock any paper that could be blocking the sensor.

I have a whirlpool azb 9750 and seems to have no pore but the fuse in the plug an the socket power is all ok, is there an internal fuse or thermal reset within the dryer

There are some overload/temperature switches within the dryer. Most reset when the overload/temp gone. You could open up the back and follow the wires to the overload switches and check with an electrical tester to see if you have power passing through each. The wiring diagram should be inside the dryer, and show each switch.

Led's don't power and there seems to be a pulsing coming from inside the unit, even after it's powered off the pulsing continues but gets more and more faint. This sub worked fine a day ago,...

Likely the amp blew and the power supply is being overloaded and keeps trying to power on but finds an overload and continues as the power goes away. This is NOT a DIY unless your are electronically adept.

A few seconds after pressing the power/standby button on my SR-96 an acute click can be heard. Currently, from what seems to me to be the same area as the aforementioned click, a similar click can be heard...

The clicking is probably from a relay that is protecting from an overload either misinterpreted or real. Overload circuits can also fail or you have a component that is intermittently shorting causing a momentary overload.

When i hit the remote the door opens about 8 inches, then stops. If I unplug the control box for a while, then plug it in it will work for a few times then the same problem occurs.

The motor seems to be overloading Something must be binding. The motor overload seems to be opening up and shutting down the opener. Once it cools down, the overload closes and the motor will run again.

CAME HOME TO NO POWER TO FRIDGE, OUTLET IS GOOD

Hi there,

Well first of all you can check to see if the light comes on or if there is any fan, motor, or other sound coming from the appliance? If so, the refrigerator isn't really completely stopped, go to the specific problem you are having. If not, try adjusting the thermostat to a colder setting. If that doesn't work, read on. Second, check to see if there is power getting to the refrigerator. To do that, plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet the refrigerator is plugged into. If there's no power, check the fuses or circuit breakers. If the fuses or breakers aren't the problem, contact a qualified electrician to restore power to the outlet. If there is power to the appliance but it still seems to be stopped, there may be a problem in one or more of these -Wiring, Thermostat, Defrost timer, Compressor
Overload and/or relay..... Please post comments for more help or information........

Good Luck!!

Thanks

I have a newer side by side kenmore that stopped cooling. the power and lights work fine and the fan seems to be working?

you need to replace the rtc contactor overload module,it is located on the compressor body and is held on by a spring wire, when replacing all you need to do is remove retainer spring and unplug the rtc overload and plug new one in,this supplies power to operate the compressor and also protects it
