Hi. That error is related to the scanning unit . I suggest to get technical support

Disconnect and then connect the flexible cable. Replace the following as necessary: flexible cable, CIS, reader controller PCB.

By pressing the menu button left of the LCD display,scroll to usersettings press ok.Scroll to volume settings press ok and change volume levels there.

On the controll panel there is a diamond shape picture with a eye in it.press that bottom and clear the fax that you received.There is no other way.You will have to phone the sender and ask them to change the papersize settings on the fax machine.

Sunds as though you have the handset that came with the machine attached to it and the handset ring volume is still on. To turn that off there are 2 black inset switches on the handset itself turn those down or off.
