Maurice,
Most microwaves take either a 15 amp or a 20 amp fuse. If you still have your old one, it should have the amperage stamped into one of the silver collars at each end of the fuse. Hope this helps!
Probably either - the high voltage capacitor has failed - the magnetron itself has failed - the high capacity fuse in line to the above 2 items has blown
Microwaves can be very dangerous if you poke around inside, even when unplugged. Take it to a service tech and get a rough quote, which could approach $150 for parts and labour. It may be cheaper to buy another.
1. Press Clock button. This is a 12 hour clock system. 2. Press Clock button once more. This is a 24 hour clock system.( if wanted) 3. Turn the dial knob to adjust hour. 4. Press Clock button. 5. Turn the dial knob to adjust minute 6. Press Clock button to exit mode
my Daewoo microwave over heats on the right hand side of the external casein wen in use model number is kor6n9rr is there any thing majorly wrong please get bk to me on my email which is bridgetyork @.co.uk
press the key clock, then enter the number for hours and then minutes, Finally press the key set, and then clock again, and ready. However you can download your owner manual for specific instr. go www. manualsonline.com
If everything works, but no heat sounds like the magnetron circuit has failed. Since it is brand new, just take it back to the store and complaint that it does not work, and ask for a refund or replacement oven.
Touch the CLOCK pad. This will activate the 12-hour system. (To activate 24-hour system, tap once more)
Enter the correct time of day by touching the time set panels.
Touch CLOCK pad.
You will know that you're changing the time when your display stops blinking and and the colon starts blinking.
If you have any other questions regarding your Daewoo KOR-630A, I located an online manual for you.
Cheers!
