I assume you are asking how to remove the region code for DVD player.
Some dvd's are region-free, but they are recorded thatway. The only way I can think of to make a disc region free would be tomake a copy and remove the region (making it region-free) during theduplication process. I used anydvdand dvdshrinkprograms, which do allow this capability. DVD shrink is free, but I thinkanydvd was like $30.

As of now, there is no way to make bluray movies region free. Games, however, are region free so you can get any PS3 games and they will work on your system.

You can only change the region code up to 4 times then it locks on the last change.
There are some firmware upgrades that can change the drive to region free, if you can screw it up or put in the wrong frmware upgrade then the DVD drive will be a piece on junk.
I suggest you install a region free software that will allow you to play any region DVDs.
Go to www.dvdidle.com to get their Region-Free software, it is not very expensive.
